The ConVal Band marched in the Memorial Day parades in several area towns today. Playing Taps, patriotic songs and doing impromptu concerts in the parking lot the band provided a day of great community joy. Under the direction of Jim Wickham, the band showed that it is a strong aspect of the high school’s program.
Yesterday, the ConVal boys tennis soundly defeated Milford 7 games to three.
Windham and Souhegan came to Peterborough yesterday to take on the ConVal Cougars.
The Windham 4 x 100m boys relay tried a creative handoff at the final exchange.
At a match against Souhegan and Alvirne High Schools, Cougar, Dan Curran, pulled off his 100th match win with a pin. Freshman, Aman Dery had his first pin of the season and Ryan Murray and Matt Kimball threw around their opponents to add wins to their records.
ConVal skiers faced racers from Bishop Guertin, Derryfield, Oyster River, Souhegan, Pembroke, Hollis/Brookline, and Wilton-Lyndeborough on the slopes of Crotched Mountain.
