ConVal boys soccer defeated Trinity 5-2. Aiden Phillips scored two of the Cougars five goals. The other goals were scored by Micah Black, Max Sturges, and Aiden Hall. Keeper, Noah Bell and the strong ConVal defense was able to hold Trinity at bay, too.
Down 2-0 to Windham, the Cougar girls came alive with a sweet goal by Izzy Wilder. With a bunch of shots on goal, ConVal kept the Windham keeper on her toes for the rest of the game. A penalty kick at the end of the game went in but the ref called it bad, so the girls lost 2-1.

Underneath a spectacular sunset, the ConVal Cougar boys defiantly stopped Windham soccer’s undefeated season. With a dazzling header goal by Aiden Hall, a follow up goal by Micah Black, and a strong defense, the boys showed they are a force to contend with. (see shots of Aiden’s goal in the next posting)
The Owl men hustled play on Tuesday against Menlo College with more shots on goal but putting them away proved elusive as they lost 1-0.
EOU traveled to Klamath Falls to have victories over Sierra Nevada and Menlo College on OIT’s new turf field.

With goals by Aiden Phillips, Luca Haufler, Micah Black, and Jordan Cooper, the ConVal boys soccer returned home with their second victory of the season.
The ConVal Cougars took a hard won victory over John Stark HS. After and early goal by Jordan Cooper, goalkeeper Noah Bell had some amazing saves against an onslaught of John Stark attacks. Aided by Manny Bowman, Zach Kriebel and other defenders, the Cougars were able to keep John Stark at bay for the rest of the game. (1-0)
