Ronan MacNamara, a senior at New Hampton School, met up with Stephen Simard a junior at Brewster Academy as their lacrosse teams went at it with the Huskies coming out on top 16-11. Being new to Brewster, Stephen didn’t get to show what he could do as goalie. Ronan, the face-off player, got. a goal, too. They exchanged jerseys after the match. Both guys are former ConVal High School players.
Will Simard came around the final turn in the 800m and like Secretariat in 1973 at Belmont Park there were no competitors in sight. He beat the next runner by half a lap, and that was in a race that was only two laps.

In a lopsided game (56-25) against Milford, it was senior, Jason Bouyounes, who brought the crowd to its feet, over and over. The cries of WE WANT JASON! WE WANT JASON! Rang out through the Cave as Jason’s schoolmates showed their enthusiasm for his commitment to the team.
