Ian Van Ham and Harrison Browne of Wilton-Lyndeborough High School took on schools from all over the state at Crotched Mountain on Thursday. Out of a field of 62 Ian, a senior, took 9th in both the slalom and giant slalom. Harrison. a sophomore, took 34th and 32nd respectively.
ConVal’s boys skiers met the skiers from 11 other DII high schools at Crotched Mountain for the NHIAA championships in the Giant Slalom and Slalom. These photos are of the Giant Slalom. The first photos are of ConVal boys followed by photos of guys from other schools (Portsmouth, Hanover, Plymouth, John Stark, Kennett, Hollis Brookline, Pembroke, Oyster River, Souhegan, Bow and Kingswood).
ConVal Ski Team began its competitive season at Crotched Mountain against seven New Hampshire high schools. Among the boys, Noah Krason came in 4th in a field of 74 skiers. Three ConVal girls had impressive runs in the top 10. Molly Dishong 3rd, Rosie Crooker 5th and Ella Dishong 7th.
Ian VanHam of Wilton/Lyndeborough High School, the lone ski racer from his school, opened his season at Crotched Mountain yesterday with a 7th place in a field of 74 giant slalom skiers.
Milford, Wilton/Lyndeborough, Hollis/Brookline, Souhegan and Windham came to Crotched Mountain and took on ConVal Thursday.
